Pharmacologic Effect

Hepasky is a hepatoprotective agent of plant origin and the complex of biologically active substances of plant origin, which are the part of the preparation, are the best to normalize the protein-synthetic function of the liver, and it is used to stimulate the restoration of liver cells. Additionally it has a choleretic effect which protects the liver from the effects of toxic substances like alcohol, medications, etc., & it improves digestion.

Indications for use

Hepasky Tablet is a therapeutic and prophylactic for

• Acute hepatitis A
• Acute and chronic hepatitis B and C
• Fatty hepatosis
• Fibrosis
• Toxic hepatitis, incl. medicinal products
• Anorexia
• Alcoholic liver disease and
• Precirric states

Moreover, this medication is prescribed in the course of prevention of “hepatotoxicity of antibiotics”, “antituberculosis”, “antipyretic drugs”, “contraceptives”, and other “hepatotoxic drugs” for preventing anorexia in the course of radiation and chemotherapy.

Contraindications

• The people having the hypersensitivity to the components of the drug like Cholelithiasis shouldn’t take this medication.
• Children under 6 years of age are not prescribed to take this medication
• The pregnant women and lactating women should avoid taking these tablets.
• And a patient with acute diseases of the stomach and intestines should take it with caution.

Dosing and Administration

The dosage & instructions manual is inside the box… But, you should take it 15-30 minutes before eating.

• As a Preventive Agent:
• 1 tablet 2 times a day.
• As a Remedy:
• Children over 6 years – 1 tablet 2 times a day
• Adults – 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Application of Selected Diseases

In Acute viral hepatitis A, B or C:

A course of therapy 2-3 months – Children and Adults: 1 tablet 2 times a day

In chronic viral hepatitis B and C:

A course of therapy 6 months – Children and Adults: 1 tablet 2 times a day

For anorexia:

The duration of the course of therapy is 2 weeks in case of anorexia. If there is necessity them, the course of therapy can be continued after taking a break of 2-week.

Children above 6 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day & Adults: 1 tablet 2 times a day

As a Hepatoprotective Agent:

In the course of anti-tuberculosis therapy and with the use of other hepatotoxic drugs in order to prevent anorexia in the course of radiation and chemotherapy, the tablets should be taken as –

Children above 6 years: 1 tablet 2 times a day & Adults: 1 tablet 2 times a day

However, the drug is taken with anti-tuberculosis drugs and other chemotherapy drugs, but the duration of the course of treatment changes as it corresponds with the duration of the course of chemotherapy.

With Alcoholic Liver Disease:

Adults: 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Side Effects…

There aren’t very bad side effects of using this herbal drug. However, allergic reactions and dyspeptic disturbances are possible.

Sometimes it can result in loosening of the stool in patients who have a history of digestion and absorption and/or diarrhea.

Interaction with other drugs…

HEPASKY Tablets when used with some other drug, it reduces the concentration of ibuprofen in blood, it may be due to a slower absorption of Hepasky Tablet. Moreover, the drug reduces the bioavailability of doxycycline & tetracycline.

Storage Conditions & Shelf Life…

The Hepasky Tablets should be kept in a dry place at a temperature of “+ 10 ° C to + 30 ° C.” And these should be kept out of the reach of children. The tablets have shelf life of 3 years. But, these shouldn’t be used after the expiration date.

The medicine will come in the form of pills.

The packaging contains 60 tablets in a plastic bottle that is a high-density polyethylene bottle with a screw cap. The neck of the bottle is tightened with
